Kyle Schafer
Founder & Principal
With two decades of experience in labor movement research, communications and campaign leadership roles, Kyle has overseen and trained comprehensive strategic teams that have helped tens of thousands of working people win a voice on the job and a better life. Campaigns have included organizing drives of workers seeking to form their union, large-scale coordinated contract fights, multi-city policy efforts, corporate campaigns, municipal ballot initiatives and innovative worker center and community solidarity programs.
Kyle is also committed to mentorship of individuals taking on new leadership roles in a wide variety of campaign environments. He has mentored emerging leaders in work including managing city council races, coordinating grassroots legislative policy fights, organizing workplaces and training teams.
Kerrick brings nearly a decade of experience in research, communications, and related strategic work on a wide variety of labor, climate, and community justice campaigns. Campaigns have included organizing drives for workers forming a union, existing union contract fights, legislative policy campaigns, city-wide environmental justice initiatives, and immigration and criminal legal system interventions. Through these efforts, she has collaborated with labor unions, worker centers, tenant unions, movement lawyers, climate justice coalitions, and nonprofit organizations. Kerrick is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School.
